Privacy Policy

Torc Construction Client Portal • Effective July 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Torc Construction LLC ("Torc Construction," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Torc Construction Client Portal, available on the web at portal.torcconstruction.com and as a mobile application (together, the "Portal"). By creating an account or using the Portal, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to give you access to your project or job-site materials:

Account information you provide: your name, email address, optional phone number, the account type you request (client or subcontractor), and a password.
Authentication data: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your verified email address (and, for Apple, a unique account identifier) to confirm your identity. We do not receive your Google or Apple password.
Usage and technical data: basic sign-in activity and server logs (such as timestamps and error information) used to operate and secure the Portal.

We do not collect payment card numbers, bank account details, Social Security numbers, or precise location through the Portal. Passwords are never stored in readable form (see Security below).

2. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and authenticate your sign-in.
To give you access to the specific project documents, schedule, payments, approvals, or job-site files assigned to your account.
To send you account-related email, such as a welcome message, a notice that your account is approved, or a password-reset link.
To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Portal.

We use your information only for these purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. How information is shared

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Portal, and only as needed:

Google (Google Cloud, Drive, Sheets): the Portal is hosted on Google Cloud and displays project files and data stored in Torc Construction's Google Drive and Google Sheets. Google sign-in is used to verify identity.
Resend: used to deliver account-related emails.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not otherwise share your personal information with third parties.

4. Data retention and deleting your account

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen in the Portal (or by contacting us at the address below). Deleting your account removes your sign-in and personal information from the Portal. Business and project records that are part of a construction job file (such as signed contracts and recorded approvals) may be retained by Torc Construction as required for our business and legal obligations.

5. Security

We protect your information using industry-standard measures. All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are stored only as salted, one-way cryptographic hashes and are never stored or transmitted in readable form. Access to project materials is limited to the account they are assigned to.

6. Children's privacy

The Portal is intended for use by Torc Construction's clients and subcontractors and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may delete your account yourself at any time. To exercise these rights, use the Account screen or contact us using the details below.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and post the updated Policy here. Continued use of the Portal after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
